Introducing Cridling Churned Honey with Elderberry, part of the New Taste of Yorkshire Honey Range.
Our Cridling Honey Smiths have spent quite some time creating our Churned Honey range using only Pure Yorkshire Honey and a little Cridling magic. This exquisite blend has been crafted to celebrate our Yorkshire heritage whilst staying true to our Cridling principals of only using natural ingredients - the honey and dried elderberries.
Elderberries are well known for being rich in antioxidants and vitamins and have been traditionally used in folk medicine to treat many ailments. They are abundant in Yorkshire hedgerows and have been used to make wines, fortify meads, make jams, chutneys and syrups. They have a rich, deep flavour that sits exceptionally well with honey producing an exquisitely sweet, harmonious blend.
Our customers love this flavour and have posted images of it on toast, scones, drinking it in hot water, with tea and coffee, and straight off the spoon. Why not use it to add a gourmet touch to your favourite food and let us know how you enjoy it?
